Nipple Cosmetic Surgery
Correcting the nipple is something that can be done using a number of cosmetic surgery techniques .
Most humans have two nipples which are situated at the centre of the breasts and are then surrounded coloured (pigmented) area of skin which is called the areola. Nipples and areola can be of varying different sizes and shapes and form part of the overall appearance of the breast of chest area. The projection of the nipple is something that can also vary however the average amount of projection of female nipples is just over 10mm. This is not to say that nipples that do not project as much as or project more than 10mm are abnormal and the size of the nipples does not affect the function of the nipple.
However many people suffer from abnormalities of the nipple which can have an effect on your confidence and also cause discomfort. These can include extended nipples (very prominent nipples) or you may have puffy nipples (protuberant areola) or the areola maybe be discoloured or too large in relation to the breast. Another common problem is inverted nipples where the nipple does not project out of the breast tissue and is a very common complaint that can sometimes be corrected using a niplette (suction device) however this does not always work. With a minor surgical procedure it is quite easy and quick to fix with an inverted nipple procedure that fixed the nipple so that it is not able to return to an inverted position.
