What to do when you go home after a Featherlift
The featherlift procedure is generally done on an out-patient basis under a local anaesthetic and possibly sedation. The entire procedure takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on how many areas are being treated.
What are the side effects?
Side effects can include bruising and mild swelling, however most people can return to work in a few days depending on the individual.
What if something goes wrong?
Contact your surgeon immediately if you:
- Experience shortness of breath, chest pains, or unusual heart beats.
- Notice any signs of infection.
- Experience bleeding.
- Experience a sudden increase in pain.
