Qualifications:
Mr. Fourie studied medicine in South Africa in 1979. He has served as Medical officer in the South African Defense Force medical Corps. His training was furthered when he attended the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town. He has served as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Pretoria’s number one military hospital, where he devotedly served for three years. During that time he reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
By 1991, he was already practicing cosmetic surgery in Pretoria in a full-time practice. By 1993, his success enabled him to establish a breast reconstructive service at Pinderfields General Hospital’s Department of Plastic Surgery. He is now registered as a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and is a member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons, the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists. This vast experience makes Mr. Fourie an excellent choice for almost any plastic surgery procedure.
